Program Overview

The Master of Arts in International Education and Pedagogy (MAIEP) focuses on advanced knowledge and professional competence in international education and pedagogy. The curriculum is structured into two integrated phases, combining coursework with independent research.

Phase 1 - Advanced Coursework and Professional Development

• Strengthen understanding of contemporary pedagogical theories

• Develop effective teaching strategies for diverse and multicultural learning environments

• Enhance curriculum design and instructional planning skills

• Integrate educational technologies into teaching and learning

• Apply inclusive, culturally responsive, and learner-centred educational practices

This phase ensures graduates develop strong pedagogical competence and international educational awareness.

Phase 2 - Thesis or Research Project

• Investigate real-world challenges in international education or pedagogy

Entry Requirements

Applicants to the Master of Business Administration must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent qualification aligned with EQF Level 6

• Applicants with non-standard qualifications may be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in accordance with ULDP policies

• Degrees from unaccredited institutions or diploma mills will not be accepted

• Admission decisions are made following an individual review of each applicant’s academic and professional profile

English Language Requirements

Applicants whose previous education was not conducted in English are required to demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:

• CEFR Level A2 or equivalent.

• IELTS 6.5 (with Reading and Writing at 6.5 or above) or equivalent.

• TOEFL iBT 101 or equivalent.
